Kick in the Pants

I haven't had much to say for the last few days, so I haven't written anything.  I have been very mellow, sleepy and uninterested in doing anything, so I have been pretty quiet. Today, however, I woke up with a bit more energy and zest.  In fact, it hit me today as I was recording the times for closing that we are really moving! I have been going through the motions of packing and coordinating but haven't really thought that much about the end of all the work.  It is probably good it took so long, since I seem to get really excited and then burn out.

I got most of the rest of the craft room packed up this morning, then went to the moving company place to pick up some more newsprint and some shrink wrap (really wide plastic food wrap) to finish things up.  While I was out, a friend from out of town called and asked if we could meet for lunch, so that took up most of the rest of the afternoon.

Throughout the day, however, I was in contact with the buyer of our house, and it looks like we will be busy with them this weekend.  They are keeping my desk and coming over so we can help them move it to the other end of the house.  They are also meeting a delivery driver for some furniture they purchased but must have delivered.  Long story shortened, but we agreed to have them deliver it here so they wouldn't have to pay for an extra POD to move it in.

That means I will have to really get on the ball tomorrow and Friday to get things out of the way.  It might be just the motivation I need to get my list done. I clearly need some sort of motivation!
